About Me
Holly Hylton LOVES her job!!!
I feel so grateful to be able to say that and to live my dreams fully.
I grew up in a suburb of Dallas, Texas, but have called New York City home since 1995. While New York may be where I unpack my bags stateside, Europe has become my second home, especially Hamburg, Germany.
It is an understatement to say that Europe has been very good to me. Along my professional and personal journey, I met quite a spectacular man on a European Tour. He changed my life in all of the best possible ways. We got married in Prague, on the Charles Bridge amongst family and friends from both near and far. Over the last 20 years I have been lucky enough to be able to go between home and abroad performing and pursuing my dreams both on and off stage. I’ve done several European Tours and five German Broadway shows, which has expanded my extended family all around the world. I continue to go between NYC and Germany and perform where the opportunities present themselves.
My most challenging and rewarding role to date is that of “Mama” to a most special little lady. She is my heartbeat and my Joie. In addition to being a proud mother to a wildly smart and talented human child, something you should know about me, is that I am also the proud mother to two of the smartest, most talented cats on the planet. My fur children both use the human toilet – NO JOKE – so PROUD! And while my talents include toilet training cats, my domestic skills seem to end there. I have been told that I am culinary challenged, but I can make anything into a special occasion or a reason to celebrate and tend to show my love with sugar, so I dare you not to like my baked goods.
On a professional note, please find a list of my credits and skills on the resume tab.
I love to create, work with talented people, soak up inspiration from our artistic community, and I will say it again, I LOVE my job.
